Development Experts to Discuss Town Center Plan at Oct. 11 Panel

October 5, 2018 — Curious about what the future Wilsonville Town Center may look like once the community-driven vision begins to takes shape?

On Thursday, Oct. 11, 4-5:30 pm, the City is hosting a special Economic Summit Panel at Wilsonville’s Regal Cinemas, 29300 SW Town Center Loop W., to discuss the project with Town Center planners and a panel of development experts.

Panelists will highlight key findings from the Town Center Plan's Development Feasibility Analysis and discuss what it means for future development options and potential economic implementation strategies in Town Center. 

The event panelists include:

  • Leila Aman | Development Manager - City of Milwaukie 
  • Fred Bruning | CEO - CenterCal Properties
  • Rebecca Kennedy | Long Range Planning Manager - City of Vancouver
  • Lloyd Purdy | Vice President - Greater Portland Inc. 
  • Chris Zahas | Managing Principal - Leland Consulting

Alex Dupey (MIG Inc.) moderates the discussion, and panelists are sharing insight from development of mixed-use commercial centers, modern main streets and retail centers in and around the region.

The event begins to explore development options in Town Center and provides an opportunity for audience members to weigh in on possible implementation strategies.
