On August 21st, we celebrate National Senior Citizens Day, a day dedicated to honoring the contributions, wisdom, and achievements of our senior citizens. Established by President Ronald Reagan in 1988, this day recognizes the vital role older adults play in our families, communities, and society.

Today is a day to express gratitude for the lives and legacies of the older adults in our community, honor their lifetime of hard work, and ensure they receive the respect and care they deserve.
