Updated Road Repair Schedule for Boones Ferry Road, Wilsonville Road

As the City continues resurfacing projects on portions of Boones Ferry Road and Wilsonville Road, please take note of the updates below, which could slow traffic and delay commuters.

Boones Ferry Road Night Work:

Paving begin tonight (Sept. 18) on Boones Ferry Rd., from Wilsonville Rd to Barber St. Traffic control will be in place to designate the work area. One lane in each direction will be open; cones and flaggers will be present to help move traffic through to businesses as needed. This work will likely take 2 to 3 nights to complete. Construction is anticipated between 8 pm and 6 am.  To avoid this work zone, Kinsman Rd. is recommended as an alternate route.

Next week, Sept. 23-27, lane striping will be completed as weather allows. This work, which is expected to take two days, is also being done at night and requires traffic to be reduced to one lane.

Wilsonville Road:

Weather permitting, the contractor is currently planning to start on Thursday, Sept. 19, on smaller roadway repairs that will require lane shifts and, in some spots, the reduction of the traffic to one lane; flaggers will help direct traffic at each intersection within the work area and at any point where lane shift is required.

Approximate Schedule of Upcoming Work:

On Sept. 19, the pavement repair work takes place in the Kinsman to Brown area.  Beginning at 9 am,  the signal at Montebello and Wilsonville Road will be turned off; flaggers will direct traffic.

Next week, pavement repair work takes place in the Willamette Way area.

Beginning October 1, the final roadway paving is scheduled to begin. This work will be done in approximately 6 sections (1 section per day) and may span a week or two depending on weather and equipment availability. Where work is taking place, traffic will be reduced to one lane with flaggers helping direct traffic and minimize delays.  Work will begin at about 9:30 am in the school areas, but is likely to extend into the evening, impacting primary/middle school release and the evening commute.

Thanks for your patience while these critical roadways are upgraded. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
