August 19, 2021 — After a one-year absence, the City’s end-of-the-summer Community Block Party is returning to Town Center Park next Thursday, Aug. 26, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Highlighting the event is a live concert performance from Samsel, a self-described “American Alternative” band with bluesy and rootsy influences.

The fun and music begin at 5:30 pm. Food is available for purchase from Koi Fusion, Dough on the Go and Beats & Eats. Wilsonville’s Vanguard Brewing has been licensed to serve beer to guests over 21 years of age with valid proof of ID.

This free community event provides an outdoor space for people to come together to mingle among friends, family and neighbors to celebrate the end of summer. Visitors are encouraged to act in accordance with Oregon Health Authority guidelines to limit the community spread of COVID-19.

City staff are providing family-friendly activities for guests to enjoy. These include a book walk, lawn games, a balloon artist, a tattoo artist and an inflatable axe throwing. Parks & Recreation maintenance staff are giving away some native plants.
