If you missed Bulky Waste Day, Republic Services is providing you with a second chance.
From 9 am-1 pm on Saturday, Oct. 21, members of the Wilsonville, Tualatin and Lake Oswego communities can drop their bulky waste at Republic Services. When you do, bring a new, unwrapped toy to support the Marine Toys for Tots annual toy drive. Toys for Tots will distribute toys to in-need families during the upcoming holiday season.
Bulky Waste Day accepts many items otherwise hard to dispose of, including dishwashers, televisions, refrigerators, computers, monitors, stoves, dryers, water heaters, couches, mattresses, scrap metal, tables and chairs, and clean, untreated wood.
The program does not accept construction debris of any type, propane bottles or canisters, paint, batteries, solvents, thinners, household garbage or car tires.
