The City received a Savvy Award at the 19th annual City-County Communications and Marketing (3CMA) conference in Kansas City for Bob Murase's Imprint of the Wilsonville Landscape video presentation.
The 9 minute 50 second video presentation took first place in the TV and Video One-Time Special Programming category for cities with a population up to 73,000. The video highlights the special features of Murase Plaza at Memorial Park, Town Center Park and Willamette River Water Treatment Plant Park. Each park has its own unique combination of cascading water and well placed stone. This video is a fitting tribute to landscape architect Robert Murase who passed away in 2005.
The Savvy Awards competition is sponsored by the City-County Communications and Marketing Association (3CMA). The awards recognize outstanding local government achievements in communications, public-sector marketing and citizen-government relationships. The Savvies salute skilled and effective city, county professionals who have creatively planned and carried out successful innovations in communications.
