Community members are invited to bring up to 10 boxes of documents to a free and secure community-wide document shredding event sponsored by U.S. Bank, the City of Wilsonville and Wood Middle School.
The event takes place at U.S. Bank in Wilsonville , 29112 SW Town Center Loop West on Saturday, April 16, 9 am - noon.
Community members should bring and shred documents that contain sensitive and confidential information in order prevent identity theft and other fraud.
As part of Wood Middle School’s Community and Beyond 7th grade program, student, teacher and parent volunteers will help unload and prepare documents to be shredded by a Recall Mobile Shredding Truck. The event is free, but participating community members are encouraged to make a financial contribution to Wood Middle School in support of the Community and Beyond program which encourages students to make a difference in their world. Any donations in excess of the needs of this program will go toward supporting Wilsonville Community Sharing’s food bank program.
