Sunday, Jan. 31, is the final day to complete an online survey that seeks to gather input from Wilsonville community members in order to develop an Information Technology Strategic Plan for the City. The survey asks a variety of questions intended to solicit the community’s information services ideas, priorities and existing gaps. To complete the survey visit www.ci.Wilsonville.or.us/ITSurvey.
The purpose of the plan is to guide the City’s information services investments and actions over the next five years. The plan seeks to identify both online strategies and other technology solutions that allow the City to better meet community members’ needs, improve service delivery and enhance information sharing by better leveraging existing and future technology.
The City contracted with MindBoard Inc., a technology-consulting firm based out of Virginia, that is responsible for researching, recommending and drafting the plan. Once developed the Information Technology Strategic Plan is to be presented to the City Council for input, prioritization and adoption this spring.
