On May 4, 2015, at the Wilsonville City Council meeting Police Chief Jeff Smith presented the City of Wilsonville 2014 Annual Report from the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) — CCSO provides 24 hour a day law-enforcement services for the City of Wilsonville.
The report covers the types of calls and crimes that were reported and responded to by CCSO in 2014. During this time period, the Sheriff's Office answered 6,558 calls for service, which was an average of 546.5 calls per month and 18.0 calls per day. “Wilsonville still maintains of 21 (Portland) metro cities, the second lowest crime rate per population,” explained Police Chief Jeff Smith.
