In partnership with Metro and Republic Services, the City of Wilsonville is sponsoring “Bulky Waste Day” on Saturday, May 2, 2015, 10 am - 2 pm at 10295 SW Ridder Road in Wilsonville.
The event is free, but participants need to show proof of Wilsonville residency and are asked to bring toiletries items such as tooth paste, shampoo, soap, and deodorant to be donated to Wilsonville Community Sharing’s Food Bank program.
Community members may drop-off large, bulky items that don’t fit into standard-sized garbage cans. The types of waste that are accepted include dishwashers, televisions, refrigerators, computers, monitors, stoves, dryers, water heaters, couches, mattresses, scrap metal, tables and chairs.
The following types of items will not be accepted; propane bottles and canisters, paint, batteries, solvents, thinners, household garbage, tires and other related items.
