On Monday, April 6, 2015, a contractor working on behalf of the City of Wilsonville is scheduled to begin a construction project to replace two stormwater sewer lines that cross SW Park Place and SW Courtside near Town Center Park in Wilsonville. To minimize the impact on traffic, construction work is to occur during weekday evenings and early morning hours, 7 pm - 6:30 am. During the three-week-long project expected to be completed on Friday, April 24, through-traffic is permitted, but travelers should expect delays and may prefer to take alternate routes to avoid congestion.
The $72,000 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) project occurs in two phases, first with the work on SW Park Place (east of the Shari’s Restaurant) and then on Courtside Drive (south of Town Center Park). The new lateral stormwater sewer lines are needed to improve flow in the area by upgrading the size of the pipes.
